The Remaking Of W.

This morning saw the online debut of the short film The Remaking of W as the main attraction at Fashion on Film, W’s virtual film festival.
The film shows a behind the scenes look at what it's like to work for the magazine as well as documenting the first few months at W for new editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi, who took the reins at the magazine last April.

Tonchi seems determined to keep W relevant in this increasingly paperless world of to the second Internet information. Smartly, he'll do this by moving with the times and making W online an equally valid and important part of your fashion world.
Tonchi's idea for the future of W is "to become your Fashion YouTube: a well-curated haven for the best videos in style, art, design, cinema, music, and, of course, fashion."

Kim Kardashian Poses Nude For W Magazine's Annual Art Issue

Soooo...I'm only going to post this cover shot, as it is the most tame in this series of photos, and I don't want any problems with you guys. The last thing I need is for someone to complain that I poked them in the eye with a nip before they'd even had their morning coffee. But there are plenty more pics of Kim in her bucket naked glory. Just Google.

No shade, she seems like a pleasant young lady and I think she looks great. If you want to take off your clothes I say flaunt it while you got it. But wasn't it just last month that she was lamenting over her decision to do Playboy? Oh, I forgot. This is ART! Silly me.

I Promise, It Does Not Make Me Feel Good To Post This!

Beyonce is on the cover of the new Giant Magazine, looking hot as ever!

She looked good at the Cadillac records Premiere last night too. I thought the hair on her head looked a little wiggy up front...but that wasn't the only hair that was wrong!

Daaaammmmnnn...Well, she's married. Probably doesn't give a damn.
OK! So we can put the rumours to rest, she is not an alien or cyborg even though she refuses to take her robot hand off. She's only human, and we grow hair.
I'm surprised she hasn't lasered it off though. I want to laser so the hair can NEVER grow back. Scorch the earth

Tina Fey Explains Her Mystery Buck Fifty

Tina Fey interview W/ Vanity Fair: She finally talks about her scar! Sorry, I wanted to know...

Tina Fey graces the cover of the January issue of Vanity Fair, and in an interview with Fey and her husband Jeff Richmond inside, her distinctive facial scar is finally explained as a random childhood slashing.

From the NY Post, which got an early look at the article:
...she and hubby Jeff Richmond note she's never talked publicly about a mystery slashing incident, which happened when she was 5.

"It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and some body just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen," Richmond says.

The "30 Rock" star has refused to discuss the scar. "It's impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it," she says.

The AP has more on Fey's scar from VF:
Says Richmond: "That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life."

Fey says talking about the attack would seem like exploiting it.

Says Fey: "It's really almost like I'm able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of `Oh, I guess we should use this side' or whatever. Everybody's got a better side."

She also talks about her parents:
"I grew up in a family of Republicans. And when I was 18 and registering to vote, my mom's only instruction was 'You just go in and pull the big Republican lever.' That's my welcome to adulthood. She's like, 'No, don't even read it. Just pull the Republican lever."' (Fey made a call to arrange for Richmond's excited Republican parents and sister to meet Palin at a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania.)

Jay-Z Featuring Santogold - Brooklyn (Go Hard)

Jay-Z song produced by Kanye West of the soundtrack to the upcoming film Notorious.

I can't stop listening to this song. I LOVE this song. I need to go out with my all bad chick crew (No boys allowed, and they can't stand near our table either. Scram!), buy some champagne, and pop a bottle to this song ASAP!
Are you ready?

Call Me.

"It was OK. I wasn't into the waif thing. She kind of looked like my nephew. I mean, she's beautiful—she's a very pretty nephew—but I'm more into curvy women."

—Mark Wahlberg to Nuts magazine, on posing with a topless Kate Moss for those controversial Calvin Klein ads back in 1992

FAIL!

After Naturi Naughton got kicked out of 3LW (Who? Yeah, I know. But if you do remember them, have you seen the backshot pics that are of Adrienne that are being spread all over the web? Those Disney girls should be kept away from digitals cameras and computers. )I didn't expect to her hear from her again. Imagine my surprise when she was chosen to play the part of Lil' Kim in the upcoming film "Notorious". I saw the trailer for the film, and I must say, she did appear to have Kim's movements down. I hope she does well, Lil' Kim's role def deserves to be done justice.
But can we leave it for the movie? Please? Because this picture of Naturi "being" Kim or whatever she's trying to do on the cover of King magazine is giving me the heebie jeebies. Wholly unappealing.
OK, lets get some real Kim to wash that picture out of our eyes.

aaaaahhhhh....Much better. Let's keep the party goin'...

OK, OK, we can invite 3LW to the party too.

Jennifer Aniston Thinks Angelina Jolie Is "Uncool".

On being bothered that Angelina recounted a detailed timeline of how she fell in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.

On if she ever speaks to Brad: "[We've exchanged] a few very kind hellos ... and congratulations on your babies... [We] had an amicable split ... The marriage didn't work out."

More from People:

"The marriage didn't work out... Pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other."

Aniston, who says she's been "unbelievably lucky in love," is also practical about the subject. "Whoever said everything has to be forever," she says. "That's setting your hopes too high. It's too much pressure. And I think if you put that pressure on yourself ... that's unattainable."

On her romance with John Mayer: "People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up....

"It's funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realize [that] we maybe need to do something else, but you still really, really love each other. It's painful. There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that's where it is."

On when Mayer bragged about dumping her: "Trust me, you'll never see that happen again from that man."
- UsWeekly/People Via HuffingtonPost.com

"Uncool" is an understatement to say the least. I never cared enough to think about anything as silly as Team Aniston vs. Team Joile, remember that? Dumb stuff.
I also don't think that Jennifer Aniston is making the situation any better by continuing to talk about it herself. Even if it still burns her, in public she should at least pretend to be past it. You're an actress lady! ACT!
However, if I'm going to form an opinion, I will say that I don't respect women who knowingly make designs on other women's men.
Of course the feelings one may develop are not exactly anyone's fault, and if the party in a commited relationship responds to random hookers, then the burden is on him, and not the ho in question. But a little self control is in order. What about the golden rule? Do unto others, as you would have done unto you. Right?

Btw, who the hell does that Frankenstein-headed John Mayer think he is? And why is anyone tossing punani in his direction?

Beyonce X Essence + 2 New Songs!

Beyonce is on the cover of the new Essence Magazine, where she discusses her new album, 2 new movies, and FINALLY breaks her silence about her relationship with Jay-Z.

"What Jay and I have is real. It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real," the singer, 27, tells Essence magazine in its November issue.

Notoriously tight-lipped about her relationship with the hip-hop mogul, Beyoncé does share a little about her wedding day, but only after groaning, "You're gonna get me in trouble."

Beyoncé tells the magazine she didn't want an engagement ring because, "People put too much emphasis on that," she says. "It's just material and it's just silly to me."

Instead, the magazine reports, she wears a band on her ring finger over a tattoo of the Roman numeral IV (Beyoncé was born on Sept. 4; Jay-Z on Dec. 4; they were married on April 4). Jay-Z, 38, has a matching tattoo on his left-hand ring finger.

Their wedding was small and intimate because Beyoncé is not a "traditional woman," she says, and didn't want the drama. "It's been my day so many days already," she told Essence.

Beyoncé, was certain she and Jay-Z would end up as husband and wife. "We've been together a long time," she says. "We always knew it would happen."

-Essence

Cute! I love the love, hope they stick together.

Have you heard Beyonces 2 new singles? I thought they weren't supposed to come out until next week because Michelle Williams (of Destineys Child) is releasing her new album today. Beyonce said she would push her music back a bit so as not to step on Michelle's toes, but I guess that's out the window. Tsk tsk, B! Let the other girls have some shine whydontcha'? Not that it would've helped anyway...

Esquire Magazine Names Halle Berry Sexiest Woman Alive.

Excerpts from Halle's "acceptance speech".

Wow. Sexiest woman alive, huh?
I've been in the business for more than twenty years, and you decide now, at this particular time, that I'm the sexiest woman alive? Come on. I mean, you couldn't go with the Bond-girl year? You didn't like the orange bikini? I liked the orange bikini. That would have been a pretty good year. Or what about the Monster's Ball year? That was a sexy moment. Couldn't you have packaged that up with some list of the best movie sex scenes ever? That would have been very easy, very magaziney. But 2008? Well, I don't know exactly what it means, but being forty-two and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it.
Does being the sexiest woman alive imply that I know a thing or two about what's sexy and, possibly, about sex itself? I'm not sure, but here's what I do know: I know damned well I'm sexier now than I used to be. Let me make an argument here -- not so much for me, or even for my age being sexy, but for what I've learned. I've picked up a little over the years. Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it's about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind -- a comfortable state of being. It's about loving yourself even in your most unlovable moments. I know a little bit about that.
So, yes, there are times when I feel like the sexiest woman alive, but would I ever argue that I am the sexiest woman alive? Of course not. I figure at one moment the sexiest woman alive is a waitress in Abilene, Texas. And in the very next second, it's a woman in the bush of Vanuatu. Then, right away, somewhere else. Sex and sexiness. It's all about the moment; it's about what you know as much as it is what you offer. That's why I share this title with every woman, because every woman is a nominee for it at any moment

Awww...Hal...(sniff sniff) thank you.
Seriously, this is a lovely sentiment and I agree with it 100%. Plus it is beyond awesome that a woman in her forties who just (JUST) had a baby was chosen. She is incredibly sexy, it's just unfortunate that often it's the 18 year olds who may have had sex, but really dont know jack about sex or sexiness who are upheld as the epitome of what is "sexy". Sexy is all about confidence and being happy with yourself, and in this article Halle sounds like a happy and confident woman. Which makes me happy and confident. We're spreading the sexy! Look out now!

Needs A Bath With Scrubbin Bubbles.

Spokeswoman for the National Association of Skeezers, Skanks, and Skallywags, Aubrey O'Day recently did an interview and photo shoot with Complex Magazine.

Choice excerpts from the interview:

Complex-When people see you in the tabloids and blogs, they tend to think—
Aubrey O’Day: —that I’m a ho, a dumb blonde girl

Complex-Well, when you’re out at clubs, you must get approached in an aggressive way.
Aubrey O’Day: I think urban guys look at me and are like, “Here’s the white girl I’m gonna fuck.” Like, I met a famous basketball player the other night. So this nasty guy came up to me and says, “Come here. I’m the man, haven’t you heard?” And I said, “Well, I’m the woman, haven’t you heard?” And he was like—this is the third thing out of his mouth—“Well, I have a hotel here, so when are you going to come by to my room?”

Complex-Smooth.
Aubrey O’Day: It was so embarrassing and corny. I was disgusted. It’s funny that they think they can talk to me like that, like it’s so easy. “There’s that ho from Danity Kane, let me get her off tonight.”

Complex-So when people hear you’re best friends with Jenna Jameson, they think—
Aubrey O’Day: —I’m going to do sex tapes and porn. Jenna and I never even talk about porn. I think one time Jenna and I had a conversation about having sex on your period.

Complex-Oh, running a red light?
Aubrey O’Day: Yeah. There was some new guy I was dating, and it was the first time we were going to go there, and he was weird about it. So I ask Jenna for advice and she’s like, “Honey, it’s just a little war paint, who cares?”

Complex-Well, I suppose it’s something that can be broached with—
Aubrey O’Day: —someone you trust. Or you could just have anal sex.

Complex-Do you have a favorite star?
Aubrey O’Day: Jenna Jameson, obviously.

Complex-Is it weird watching your BFF?
Aubrey O’Day: I watched her before she was my BFF, I don’t watch her anymore. I was actually masturbating one night to, like, Anal Sex Compilation #3 or whatever, and she was in it and I was like, “Oh no!” I had to turn it off. It was horrible. [Ed.—Jenna famously only lets men in the front door, so we’re guessing Aubrey’s a little confused about the title. Up and Cummers #11, maybe?]

Complex-Guys are always curious about girls and porn.
Aubrey O’Day: I usually watch black guys doing white girls, that’s my little fetish, even though in real life race isn’t a factor for me. Really, I’m more turned on by watching the girls than the guys. I love someone who looks like they’re really into sex.

Yeah...Darn those "urban" guys thinking youre a "ho" where in the heck would anyone get that idea from? Aubrey, you sound super classy in my book!

PS. This is one of my fave lines in the interview:
Complex- Speaking of the filthy industry, there have been rumors about you and Diddy. We recently interviewed Cassie, and the same rumors are dogging her.
Aubrey O’Day: Oh, those are rumors?

MEOW-CH!!!

Michelle Obama Covers Radar Magazine.

(sigh...) I'm having really mixed emotions about this cover.
Nothing like the recent New Yorker foolishness, but I really wish these "Liberal-Hipster-Yuppie" types would quit trying to make jokes.
You know who writes Radar magazine? The silver spoon New York transplant who makes good money, but insists upon sitting on the curb with holes in his pants looking like he wants to ask me for a quarter, and refuses to use an appropriate amount of deodorant for his/her sweat to stank ratio.
But I digress, check out this excerpt from the related article, taken from The Huffington Post:

The meticulously footnoted insider’s guide, a semi-controversial FAQ penned by Ana Marie Cox, asks questions like, “Why does she hate whitey?” (”there is no public evidence of her ever using the word whitey”), “When was the precise moment she became proud of America?” (”Michelle Obama’s pride in America is long-standing, diffuse, and organic”), and “Why is she so angry?” (”She’s not angry; she is passionate”).

Oh Radar, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
