In case you missed its television debut, here is Kanye West starring in his short film titled Runaway. In the film a phoenix played by Victoria's Secret Angel Selita Ebanks, falls to earth and falls in love with a mortal played by Kanye West.
Of course relationship drama ensues as he tries to show her a world that her enlightened birdy mind can never grasp.
Also, you should totally never try to feed a bird to another bird. Bird on bird cannibalism is clearly not the way. I hope you're happy now. Dinner is ruined!
The video for Rihanna's first single off of her upcoming album Loud dropped today. Titled "Only Girl In The World", the video definitely stays true to the title theme. Rihanna appears in a pseudo post-apocalyptic world where only flowers have survived. The song certainly has all the makings of a mega hit...but that hair! I can't with that mess.
I have been following the progression of the B.I.G. movie and it looks like it is going to be a Great one. I couldn't resist posting this new song by Jadakiss feat Faith Evans called "Letter to B.I.G.". The song is featured in the movie; as an avid lover of Jada's music I have to give a thumbs up on this track... Jada went in...
Take a listen and tell me what you think and if you are interested in seeing the movie.
Is there any New Music out there that you all can't get enough of... if so do share...
So although I am not really feeling the DIVA video that Beyonce just did, the song is growing on me. Now more than ever with this new REMIX that Ciara did. Yep, that's right, your girl Ciara did her thing on the remix... I almost think I like it better than B's. Is she well within her rights for doing this, I mean guys do it all the time, and Beyonce did just copy Cici's "Like a Boy." Equal Opportunity Baby! Check it out and tell me who's the more Popping DIVA.
By the way, Ciara is known for her remixes, after the cut is the remix she did of Janet Jackson's Feedback. I don't know about y'all but I can't wait to go on my "Fantasy Ride"
So last night I had my ipod on shuffle, and for some reason it kept playing Gerald Levert's songs, first came "One Million Times" then "Made to love you" and I really started missing Gerald. I went on the web and started researching some of his videos and I came across a tribute that he did along with Marsha Ambrosius from the group Floetry. Do you guys remember the Smokey Robinson Tribute on BET a couple years back? Man, this rendition right here! still gives me chills. I wish they would have sold copies or something... cause Gerald and Marsha tore that song apart. Check out the performance after the cut and tell me what you think.
True to my word, here is another new joint of the week. I see that Kamilah hit you guys with the "Brooklyn we go "ard" " joint. I'm going to mellow this one out a bit. My pic of the week is Wayne Brady's "Ordinary Life". I love this song, it's been on rotate in my ipod for almost two weeks now... Check it out and tell me what you think.
If you all are anything like me, you begin searching for new music just about every month. Your ipod playlists becomes old pretty quickly. Today's new video feature is none other than Neyo... I've been digging this song for a while and I have to say, I think he did the Video justice. It definitely coincides with the song. In all honesty, the message in this video is my worst fear realized. We should all practice not going to bed upset at all. Not only with our loved one but on a whole, trust me you'll sleep much more peacefully. Every week I will strive to bring you guys some new music to shake things up a bit. So listen out for the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. The videos will be an additional treat.
Does anyone know what movie Neyo's "girlfriend/wife" in the video is from? Her face looks really familiar and I can't place it... If you do know, be a good Samaritan and drop me a line with the answer, it will definitely put me out of my misery.
Without further adieu... Here's Neyo's new single MAD.....
Also, be sure to tell me what you think of the video...
T.O.N.Y. is Solange's new single. I remember liking this song from since I previewed her album, the message conveyed is interesting, not far fetched, and relatable to some folks...
Here is the unveiling of the video. I can't say that I am sold on it as yet. I'm currently undecided ... the toilet scene where she is exposing her TRACKS/Braids where the weave is sewn in is getting to me, moreover, I don't understand the running part??? I'm sure it will grow on me, I definitely like the song, though. Anyway, enough chatter... let's get on with it... take a look and tell me what u think...
Here is the latest release off of Beyonce's upcoming Album "I Am"... I think I like this song the best of what I've heard so far.
Take a listen and tell me what you guys think. Is her album going to be on your selection of new music this month?
Below are a few pictures of her from different events this weekend... Not really feeling her performance get up... Actually the grey dress is the only one I like of all three outfits... What do you guys think of her style as of late?
