Brandy Opens Up About Her Dry Spell. *Cough Cough Cobwebs Cough*

On last weeks episode of Dancing With The Stars R&B singer Brandy revealed that she had not been "intimate" with a man in 6 years.
Life And Style magazine jumped right on that quote and followed up with an interview where Brandy explained further.

"I haven't been with a man seriously and in love in six years. And, honestly, I tend to abstain if I'm not in a relationship." Brandy admitted she hasn't been celibate all that time, but... "It's been a long time. We're talking years."

I'm all for remaining celibate when not in a committed relationship, but I'm thinking if it's taking you so many years to find someone you feel comfortable being intimate with there may be bigger problems afoot here. Perhaps a fear of repeating past skanky mistakes? Or maybe it's a matter of unrealistic expectations?

If she's telling the truth, I do respect her decisions. She is a mother after all, and this means not just choosing a mate who is compatible with you, but with your children also. However, I do believe that if you are someone who would like a relationship, and are unable to find anyone suitable for years on end, that it may be best to look within. Self evaluation is necessary from time to time.

You Can't Fit Ya Hand In Ya New Purse.

The Ultimate Engagement Ring - Search For The World's Best Couple contest officially kicked off in NYC today at Brasserie Ruhlmann. Kim Kardashian was on hand to help promote the contest and model the ring.

Jeweller Michael Hill will award one very lucky couple a 22 carat, princess cut diamond engagement ring set in platinum.

Couples who register to compete at www.my22ct.com will be voted for on social networking sites, with the final 6 couples being judged by panel, and the winning couple finally flown to Chicago to be awarded the mega ring! Bling Bling!

The contest is open to all couples, whether you're engaged, already married, or you just met. Good luck to all who enter, and remember where you heard this from. Make sure you chip me off 2 carats, mama needs a new pair of earrings!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!
I hope that those of you who have a special someone in your lives are making the most of spending every moment with them, and for those that don't FUCK love! Yeah, it's for suckers, I know.
Anyway, I'm lucky enough to be one of those suckers, and I'm feeling the love, so since I cant give you all a long romantic walk on the beach and roll you in chocolate pudding, I'm giving you a few of my fave romantic moments in pop culture. Hope it gets you in the mood.

Sid And Nancy. I'm sick in the head, so I consider this classic romance. I rank these two right up there with Heathcliff and Catherine, in fact they were probably MORE functional!

Kermit (Kermie) and Miss Piggy finally tie the knot, I still get a little misty eyed when I watch this. But I don't know why Kermit always stayed frontin', he knows he loved Miss Piggy!

My all time favorite Sesame Street skit also happens to be an epic love story between a man and U.
