Barneys CO-OP has officially opened its doors in Brooklyn! The opening coincides with Barneys 25th anniversary, so if you're going soon look out for exclusive limited edition 25th anniversary creations from designers such as Alexander Wang and 3.1 Phillip Lim.

This strip of Atlantic Ave in the Boerum Hill section of BK is quickly becoming a fashion hot spot. For years we've had awesome boutiques and consignment shops in the area, but in the last 2/3 years there has been an influx of big name chains opening Brooklyn outposts. Now longtime neighborhood faves such as Butter and Maleeka, are sharing their piece of town with giant corporations like Urban Outfitters, and Jodi Arnold.

With the opening of a high end retailer like Barneys, more stores of the fancy, spendy variety are sure to follow. Welcome to Brooklyn, Madison Avenue watch your back!
