Words cannot even begin to express the emotions that Alicia, Kamilah and I are feeling. I thank Kamilah for her posts because Alicia and I were too busy exalting over the phone and watching in amazement as history unfolded before our eyes. This is a proud day in America. Let us soak it all in. I received this video via email and thought it was beyond relevant and as the sender commented, James Brown was truly ahead of his time in so many ways:
